We’re happy to welcome renowned trade marketing expert Jean-Louis Varvier (50) at EMAKINA CEE. He will manage EMAKINA Inbound Marketing GmbH, our new division created in February. This unit generates inbound traffic through content-based interaction and dialogue – particularly in digital commerce – and focuses on acquiring new customers and building long-term commercial relationships.
Experience in the retail and food industry
After obtaining his master’s degree in marketing, Jean-Louis Varvier became marketing manager in Danone’s dairy division in France, and later in Germany and Austria. He then joined the Gebrüder Woerle company as marketing manager, before starting his own business, “Must Consulting”, advising leading Austrian companies.
He returned to the food industry as international marketing director at Kotányi and then as Sales & Marketing manager at Mautner Markhof. Next, Varvier worked for Nestlé’s coffee and beverages business and as Country Business Manager of their Austrian subsidiary of CPW Cereal Partners Worldwide. As an expert in Inbound Marketing at EMAKINA CEE, Jean-Louis Varvier now adds his vast sales and marketing experience and knowledge of the retail and food industry to our team.
Building bridges and adding customer-value
Inbound marketing is an efficient technique for optimizing online business processes. By creating high-quality content and interaction models tailored to their needs and interests, prospective clients are drawn to products they are actually looking for, thus naturally generating inbound traffic. The aim is not only to acquire new customers, but also to build sustainable relationships.
We at EMAKINA CEE offer comprehensive, customized and sustainable solutions to support international customers from various sectors in achieving the full potential of digital transformation. This new unit for inbound marketing addresses the increasing relevance of content-based interaction and dialogue, particularly in digital commerce. In this respect, Jean-Louis Varvier’s primary goal will be to build effective bridges between the mechanisms of old and new economy, as well as help customers optimize their added value in the long term.
According to Gerhard Handler, CEO of EMAKINA CEE, this “additional specialization in inbound marketing will allow us to further improve our products along the entire value chain.” In Jean-Louis Varvier, he sees a “marketing expert who will become essential – especially for retail customers – thanks to his long-term activity in the food industry and his experience in this field.”
